  1. Registration for members, non-members and students includes: all conference technical sessions, one copy of electronic proceeding, coffee-breaks and welcome reception.

  2. Students under student registration are required to present their full-time student cards when collecting their conference passes, materials and receipts on site. Anyone who fails to present the document is subject to pay the difference between a regular registration and a student registration plus a handling fee of USD50 before collecting the items.

  3. The registration fee does not include conference banquet. However, all delegates with registration (Member, Non-member and Student) can join the conference banquet with an extra pay of USD30 at the moment they do the registration. The dinner is heavily subsidized by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

  4. After registration on the web, delegates should save and print the Invoice and arrange payment according to the instruction on the invoice. Please ensure payment can reach the Conference Treasurer in time. Payment evidence sent via email or fax to confirm the registration will help to speed up the process. Please include "DSP 2014" and the paper IDs of all papers that covered by the registration in the subject of the email. In case the payer is not the delegate covered by the registration, please clarify and provide the name of the delegate in the email.

  5. Delegates attending the conference are strongly recommended to have their own insurance coverage for attending the Conference.

Presenting Papers:

  1. At least one author of an accepted paper needs to be registered as a Regular Participant for the conference. Please note that any delay on submission of final camera-ready version, registration and payment may prevent the inclusion of your paper in the proceedings.

  2. Registration deadline for authors with accepted papers is June 16, 2014.

  3. One Regular Registration will cover at most three accepted papers of the registrant.

  4. Any paper accepted into the technical program, but not presented on-site will be withdrawn from the official proceedings archived on IEEE Xplore, EI Complendex or other public access forums, but this paper will be distributed as part of the on-site electronic proceedings and the copyright of this paper will belong to the IEEE.

Conference Cancellation policy:

The Registration Fee is non-refundable. The Conference Organizing Committee has tried the best to keep the Conference Fee at the lowest. The charged fee is just to make the conference breakeven and the expenses have most been committed or spent. Hence, in any case that uncontrollable mishap happens rendering the cancellation of the Conference, the fee will not be refunded, however, in this special case, all accepted papers in anyway will be listed in IEEE Xplore.

Letters of invitation will be provided to those who require it as long as they have completed the registration procedure and payment has been confirmed. When you have registered, send an enquiry to together with the following information
